  • Ongoing student support, including guidance on compliance with the New Zealand Code of Practice for the Pastoral Care of International Students.

We are committed to transparency and student-first practices. However, StudyLand does not guarantee:

  • Admission to any institution.

  • Visa approval or immigration outcomes.

  • Specific scholarships, financial aid, or job opportunities.

Final decisions rest with the relevant authorities or institutions.

3. Code of Practice & Ethical Standards

StudyLand adheres to:

  • The New Zealand Education (Pastoral Care of Tertiary and International Learners) Code of Practice 2021.

  • Ethical marketing and recruitment guidelines for international education.

  • Fair, transparent, and unbiased course and institution recommendations, regardless of commission arrangements.

As part of this commitment, StudyLand will:

  • Provide accurate, clear, and honest information about institutions, courses, fees, and processes.

  • Ensure students are fully informed before making decisions.

  • Prioritize student well-being, safety, and success.

4. Eligibility

To use StudyLand, you must:

  • Be at least 16 years old (students under 18 require parental/guardian consent).

  • Provide accurate, complete, and truthful information.

  • Use the platform only for lawful purposes.

5. User Responsibilities

You agree to:

  • Submit genuine documents and accurate information in applications.

  • Not engage in fraudulent, abusive, or misleading activities.

  • Comply with visa and study requirements set by the New Zealand government or other relevant authorities.

  • Maintain updated contact details for communication.

6. Fees & Payments

  • StudyLand does not charge students for course searches or applications.

  • Universities and institutions may pay StudyLand a commission for successful student placements. This does not influence our advice or recommendations.

  • Optional third-party services (e.g., accommodation, insurance, visa support) may involve additional costs, which will be disclosed before commitment.

7. Intellectual Property

All StudyLand content, including text, graphics, software, and branding, is owned by StudyLand or licensed to us. Users may not copy, modify, or distribute any material without written permission.

8. Third-Party Services & Links

StudyLand may connect you with or link to third-party providers. We are not responsible for their services, policies, or outcomes. Using them is at your own discretion.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • StudyLand is not liable for university admission outcomes, visa decisions, or actions of third-party providers.

  • We are not responsible for indirect or consequential losses resulting from use of our services.

  • Our liability, if any, is limited to the value of services provided directly by StudyLand.

10. International Data & Privacy

  • StudyLand complies with New Zealand’s Privacy Act 2020 and aligns with international best practices, including GDPR principles where applicable.

  • Data may be transferred internationally but will always be protected with strong safeguards.

11. Student Rights

As a StudyLand user, you have the right to:

  • Receive accurate and unbiased information.

  • Access and correct personal data.

  • Transparent communication regarding applications and decisions.

  • Raise complaints or concerns — which we will handle promptly and fairly in line with the NZ Code of Practice.

12. Termination of Use

StudyLand may suspend or terminate access if:
